Looking Ahead with Purpose and Hope - An End of Year Message from Chair Brian King

As 2025 comes to a close, I’m reflecting on the work we’ve done and all who make it possible. UDP isn’t just an organization. We are a community of people committed to politics that reflect our values: decency, fairness, and hope.

Real change doesn’t happen from a podium or a press release. It happens through community organizing, speaking up and holding leaders accountable. Coupled with courage, that energy is what drives the work we do every day.

This year, we expanded our reach across the state, connecting with voters in cities and rural communities alike, both online and through face to face engagement. From volunteer coordination and advocacy campaigns to storytelling and educational events, Utahns have made clear that grassroots efforts like protecting union workers or submitting bills to lower costs for everyday people can drive meaningful political change.

As we move into a new year, I want to hear from you. What issues matter most to you? Where should we focus our efforts? Your experiences and insights help shape our strategy, our priorities, and the way we engage to create a political community that truly serves the people.

The work we’ve built in Utah thrives not on passion alone, but on people stepping forward and taking action together. By contributing to the Utah Democratic Party, you ensure that our volunteers, organizers, and candidates have the tools to turn our shared values into victories. As we look ahead to 2026, I hope you will make a contribution to help us continue building momentum in Utah. Together, we can win more races, amplify our voices, and advance politics rooted in fairness, decency, and hope.

Thank you for your commitment and involvement knowing that together we can build a better future. I’m looking forward to what we will accomplish together in the year ahead.

Happy holidays, happy New Year, and onward to 2026!
