Delegates of House District 41 Select John Arthur as Democratic Nominee

The delegates of Utah House District 41 have selected educator and community leader John Arthur as the Democratic nominee for the upcoming session. Arthur, a nationally recognized teacher and advocate for students and families, earned strong support from delegates who highlighted his integrity, experience, and commitment to public service.



Election Results

After round 1, John Arthur won with 95.6% of the vote. There were 45 registered delegates.


Statement from John Arthur

“I am so grateful to my friends and neighbors here in House District 41 for allowing me to serve as our next champion in the Utah Legislature,” said Arthur. “I’m ready to get to work on behalf of our community in strengthening our schools, conserving our natural resources, protecting public workers, prioritizing affordability throughout the state and safety in our neighborhoods, and defending the Constitutional rights of everyday Utahns. HD41 is ready to lead, and it is my privilege to carry our voices into the People’s House.”

John Arthur will be sworn in on Monday, December 8.
