Media Advisory: Democratic Town Hall for Congressional District Two Candidates

May 17, 2024, Salt Lake City, - The Utah Democratic Party announced today that at 7 PM on May 21st, candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for CD2 will address the public at a virtual town hall moderated by former UDP Chair Jeff Merchant. This event is open to the public and can be joined here.

Eight candidates are seeking the nomination for CD2. Headshots and short bios for each of the candidates can be found at the UDP website. 

“This event will provide an opportunity to hear from CD2 candidates, so Central Committee members can ensure they support the candidate that most aligns with their values,” UDP Chair Diane Lewis said. 

Per UDP’s May 2 media advisory, members of the UDP Central Committee will meet May 25 at 10 AM to designate a nominee for CD2.
